Tumour in the uncinate process of the head of the pancreas.(a,b) Consecutive axial images showed the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) to be surrounded more than 50% of the vessel circumference by tumour. It was found not to be invaded by tumour at exploration and tumour was successfully resected.
