(d) Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC). The tumour exhibited typical hyperintense on T2 weighted images; peritumoural oedema and mass effect was present; no contrast enhancement. On DWIs (b = 1000), the signal intensity in the solid portion of the tumour was hyperintense with respect to the white matter; lower ADC values were present in the solid portions of high grade gliomas.
