(a) Pre contrast T1 sequence shows linear hypointensity (arrow), which (b) disappears after gadolinium administration. This is likely to represent fibrosis, the fact that it extends to the periphery of the liver may be related to the surgical intervention. Also note the slightly irregular liver edge (arrowhead) and splenomegaly (*).
