The major resonances are indicated: Cho, choline; Cre, creatine; and NAA, N-acetylaspartate. (b). A short echo time spectrum from a histologically verified contrast enhancing high grade glioma. The most prominent peaks observed are the lipid methylene and methyl signals, labelled as lip(-CH2-) and lip(-CH3), respectively.
