(a, b) T₂ weighted images at the same level as Figure 11 show the moderate signal bone lesion seen on the T₁ weighted scans is shown as high signal (white) that does not easily distinguish it from marrow. It does, however, on close inspection, appear to have slightly higher signal than marrow.
