(a) Transverse colour Doppler ultrasound in the supine position reveals a ureteral a jet emanating from the left ureteral orifice. No jet was seen on the right, suggesting ureteral obstruction. (b) A normal right ureteral jet is depicted after the patient assumed the left lateral decubitus position, excluding true ureteral obstruction.
