An Appeal to X-Ray Workers of all Nations

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

During the year 1935, which marks the fortieth anniversary of the discovery of Röntgen rays, it is proposed to take the opportunity of making a gesture of thanksgiving to all those many investigators, doctors, physicists, lay radiographers, nurses and others who, as X-ray pioneers, have given their lives in the service of science and to the well-being of mankind. It is desired to pay tribute to those members of all civilised countries of the world who, following humanity's highest moral ideal, have devoted their lives to faith in their calling, and have succumbed to a terrible death, in many cases after great suffering.
