This report is a revision of the previous series of reports on the specification of doses culminating in Report 29 published in 1978. This new report recognizes the introduction of the more sophisticated treatment technique resulting from three dimensional computer planning techniques and the use of non-coplanar beams and the increasing need for interdepartmental trials and therefore the transfer of meaningful data.
