Department of Diagnostic Radiology & Organ Imaging, Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin, New Territories, Hong Kong

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

The study by Ooi and Finlay [1] contains a number of errors that raise serious doubts as to the conclusion they reached.

99Tcm nanocolloid is taken up in the marrow as well as the liver and spleen. Diagnostic images should have a good marrow to soft tissue ratio with little soft tissue activity.

Received for publication December 6, 1993. Accepted for publication January 12, 1994.
