This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.
Hodgkin's disease represents 0.7% of all malignancies excluding skin cancer in England and Wales (Mead & Whitehouse, 1988) and, although the therapeutic regimes produce good results, achievement of cure remains ill defined. There is an increasing awareness of problems with treatment, appearance of a second malignancy and possible relapse. We present an extremely rare case of very late relapse (23 years) and discuss its relevance to the much debated question of the length of time required to follow patients after remission.
