We would like to thank Dr Abboud and Dr Morcos for pointing out the value of ⁹⁹Tc^m labelled millimicrospheres. However, the aim of this paper was to document some common ultrasonographic appearances of liver lesions with the unusual diagnosis of extradmedullary haematopoiesis, which is a rare liver condition with only one ultrasound documented case in the literature.
