McHugo et al (1991) raise a number of important points. Our study (Thorpe-Beeston et al, 1990) did not attempt to investigate the incidence of choroid plexus cysts, and whilst we too eagerly await the results of prospective trials, the detection of choroid plexus cysts at ultrasonography presents a management dilemma now.
