A localized hypersensitivity reaction to co-trimoxazole in a previously irradiated field simulating a recall phenomenon

In our article (Atahan et al, 1989) we described a case of local hypersensitivity reaction to co-trimoxazole* (Trimethoprim 160 mg—sulphamethoxazole 800 mg) developing 3 years after post-operative irradiation of an infiltrative ductal breast carcinoma.
