J. Weir

Atlas of Two-Dimensional Echocardiography in Congenital Cardiac Defects. By G. J. van Mill, A. J. Moulaert and E. Harinck, pp. 143, 1986 (Martinus Nijhoff, The Netherlands), £26.50. ISBN 0–89838–783–3

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

Two-dimensional, or more correctly cross-sectional, echocardiography has advanced the diagnosis of congenital heart disease dramatically over the last few years. I had hoped, therefore, that van Mill and his colleagues in their new textbook would have provided up-to-date knowledge in this field. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed.
