Book review

Heather Andrews

The Principles and Practice of Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 3rd edit. Ed. by Roger C. Sanders and A. Everette James, pp. xvi + 646, 1985 (Appleton-Century-Crofts, Norwalk, Connecticut), £86.25. ISBN 0–8385–7956–6

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

This is the very much expanded and welcome third edition of a well known textbook of obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. In the preface the editors describe this book as a reference text, but also one that can be read in its entirety. On both counts these claims appear well met for the most part.
