This book contains ten chapters which aim to review recent progress in the ten selected topics. The initial chapter on pancreatic ultrasound does not reveal anything new or startling, and it is interesting to note that the best images in this chapter are the "static" scans. There is a very comprehensive and useful list of references at the end of the section. Chapter 2 describes the role of ultrasound in the differential diagnosis of medical renal disease: a useful chapter, once again with good images and valuable references.
