Aid in puncture of pulseless femoral artery

M. J. Turner

The London Hospital (Whitechapel), Whitechapel, London E1 1BB

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

In 1977 Kovac described the technique of pulseless femoral arteriography in cases of obstructed iliac artery. Today angioplasty is increasingly performed in such patients and the need to puncture a pulseless or poorly pulsatile femoral artery arises more frequently.

Received for publication January 1, 1983.
