Book review

B. Kendall

Radiology of the Normal Skull. By R. Shapiro, pp. xi + 386, 1980 (Year Book Medical Publishers, Europublication, Chicago/London), £70.00. ISBN 0–8151–7631–7

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

At a time when the standard radiographic skull series has a diminishing place in the evaluation of many neurological problems the need for a publication devoted to the radiology of the normal skull may well be questioned. However, the confident distinction on a skull X ray between the limits of normal variation and significant pathology can still be an important factor in clinical management in which the radiologist should play a decisive part.
