This is an extremely enjoyable small book and one which I intend to give to friends whether they already know and enjoy Dickens' writings or not, because the success of Sir David's graceful writing is almost certain to make anyone an admirer of Dickens. My only regret about this elegant book is that it is not as long as I would wish it to be.
