Whole gut perfusion for barium enema preparation

J. Stabler and M. J. Brindle

West Norfolk and King's Lynn General Hospital, London Road, King's Lynn, Norfolk PE30 5QD

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

We were interested to read the paper by King et al. (1979) in a recent edition of your Journal. We introduced this method two years ago in King's Lynn, but whereas King et al. used the method on unselected cases, we used it on patients who had already had a failed barium enema preparation or who were known to be exceptionally constipated.

Received for publication June 1, 1979.
