Proceedings of The British Institute of Radiology

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

Bone blood flow measurements are of considerable potential importance in the study of skeletal physiology in health, disease and trauma, quite apart from conditions such as Paget's disease and congenital a-v fistulae where the haemodynamic effect may be more serious than the bone lesion. This potential has not so far been realized, owing to the lac of validated measurement techniques suitable for clinical use.
