The authors have written this book as a "guide to radiologists, surgeons and paediatricians". His clinical colleagues will perhaps find it more useful than the radiologist, who has probably already read the available textbooks on paediatric radiology. If this book is to be really valuable to radiologists, the authors will have to supplement the text by describing techniques in some detail—little points in technique often make all the difference between success and failure in carrying out barium studies on neonates.
