Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine. By E. R. Powsner and D. E. Raeside, pp. 657 1971 (New York and London, Grune & Stratton, Inc.).
This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.
This book contains material presented in a course of lectures on the diagnostic applications of radio-isotopes. In the preface the authors comment on the fact that the book is restricted to diagnostic applications. They clearly differentiate between the use of radiopharmaceuticals for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes. They feel that the role of the nuclear medicine department in therapeutic measures "should be confined to the delivery of the pharmaceutical and the subsequent supervision of radiation safety".
