Demonstration of Pancreatic Insulomas by Angiography

Bent Madsen, M.D.

The Radiological Department, Municipal Hospital, Aarhus, Denmark

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

The previously published ten cases of insuloma demonstrated by angiography are reviewed. Three new cases are reported. The technique, findings and errors in angiographic examination of these patients are discussed. The importance of angiography is stressed, since it allows accurate demonstration of the site of the insuloma and thus materially assists the surgeon in his search for the tumour at operation.
