Radioisotope Renography. By Chester C. Winter, pp. xx + 184 (144 illus.), 1963 (London, Bailliere, Tindall and Cox), 72s.
This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.
During the last few years there has been considerable interest in the possibility of diagnosing renal disorders from the records obtained by external counters, following the injection of radioactively labelled substances, such as hippuran and diodrast, that are selectively taken up by the kidneys. Professor Winter has been a pioneer in this field, and it is a pity, therefore, that his book on the subject should prove disappointing.
