This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.
Autotomography is a simple technique which requires no special apparatus and gives added definition of the mid-line ventricular system and basal cisterns.
The hanging head technique is especially useful after 24 to 48 hours even with small quantities of air to outline the front end of the 3rd ventricle.
Illustrations are presented to demonstrate the normal and pathological radiology correlated with the findings disclosed at operation and post-mortem.
Received for publication September 1, 1961.
