This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.
Experimental radiography of test objects with an enlargement technique using a 0·3 mm focus is described. The possibilities and inherent limitations of the method are discussed.
Our thanks are due to Mr. G. E. Roth, Director of the Dominion Radium and X-ray Laboratory, for advice on mathematical problems and for the construction of the test objects, and to Mr. R. J. Trott for the reproductions.
These were produced by the masking method described by Mattsson (1951) and are very much superior to any that could be obtained by standard techniques.
Accepted for publication April 1, 1953.
