This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

Aqueous and oily Dionosil (a rapidly eliminated compound containing the propyl ester of 3·5-diiodo-4-pyridone-N-acetic acid suspended in either water or arachis oil) were used on fourteen and twelve occasions respectively for bronchography. Their value is discussed.

The results of histological examination of one specimen excised after bronchography with aqueous Dionosil and of four after bronchography with oily Dionosil are recorded.

Accepted for publication April 1, 1953.
