First International Congress of Radiology, London, 1925

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

Dr. Thurstan Holland was, until his retirement in 1931, Lecturer in Radiology at the University of Liverpool, and Hon. Radiologist to the Liverpool Royal Infirmary.

He was inspired by Sir Robert Jones, shortly after the discovery of X rays, to take up the specialty of radiology and armed himself with a small induction coil and gas tube.
