Air Absorption Corrections for Soft X Rays*

A knowledge of the air absorption corrections for X rays is required when measuring X-ray dosage with a standard chamber. Values for the absorption for beams varying in half-value layer from 0·5 to 6·0 mm. of aluminium have been determined using a number of methods.
