Primary Carcinoma of the Jejunum: A Case Report

W. Johnston Craig, M.B., B.Ch., D.M.R.E. (Camb.), Assistant Radiologist

St. Mary's Hospital, London, W.2

This excerpt was created in the absence of an abstract.

An attempt has been made to present the clinical and radiological features which may establish an early diagnosis of carcinoma of the jejunum. A significant clinical history with normal gastric and duodenal radiological findings, should direct special attention to the small intestine.

A case of primary carcinoma of the jejunum is recorded. The diagnosis was made on radiological examination, and confirmed at operation, and pathologically. When seen three months after operation the patient was in good health.

The two important radiographs showing the stricture, and a photograph of the specimen, are reproduced.
