(d) The control SPECT study following application of 40 Gy shows a reduction of the intratumoural ¹²³I-methyltyrosine (IMT) uptake, as compared with the baseline study. The control investigation 7 months after completing the therapy (c) demonstrates no further changes of the tracer uptake in the lesion. In the follow up of 34 months, the patient was only slightly hindered by the tumour.
