(a, b) T2 weighted images at the same level as Figure 11 show the moderate signal bone lesion seen on the T1 weighted scans is shown as high signal (white) that does not easily distinguish it from marrow. It does, however, on close inspection, appear to have slightly higher signal than marrow.
